Mixing cultures is the norm in New York City, and yet it always comes with it’s challenges. Is it possible to incorporate style, elegance, and drama all in one wedding? For Jacqueline and Logan, that was exactly the goal.
As a native New Yorker, Jacqueline was a fan of black. It seemed to suit the city she was born to, and she loved how it instantly made everything feel more intense and formal. So it came as no surprise to anyone that she wanted a super-sophisticated, upscale, classic style for her wedding to Logan.
Jacqueline and Logan were able to connect with Martine at Wedding M.D., who was instantly able to translate their vision in to solid details: black and white with gold undertones for their colors, and a venue that would suit their elegant appeal in the Renaissance Event Hall.
The venue definitely lent itself to dramatic decor, so when working with Fani of Fani Flowers, Jacqueline knew she was going to want her centerpiece to make a statement, but match her tasteful, classic color choices. The table decor from Charged Up Events along with the menus from G. C. Lettering were all combined to draw the eyes to all the finely-tuned details for their sophisticated tablescape.
The elegant updo styled by Beauty by Luna and the classic makeup from Cait Bazzone were well-suited to the overall look and feel of the event. The custom-designed dress from A’dor Couture was the pièce de resistance, just waiting for the beautiful bride to bring the party to life.
Overall, it was a beautiful day with beautiful details. Jacqueline was happy to bring her French culture in to the mix, and Logan was happy to have his British background also represented.
